Is TruClinic secure?
TruClinic is compliant with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), HITECH, COPPA, PIPEDA, SSAE II-16 & SAS-70.
TruClinic stores information in state-of-the-art data centers that feature a robust 5 Tier network security platform. TruClinic undergoes compliance audits and regular independent code audit reviews from a leading network security company.
We assume responsibility for the release of information services we provide, and are covered by an extensive liability policy. An insurance certificate can be provided to your facility upon your request.
We maintain reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to protect Personal Information against unauthorized disclosure, use or access. If a password is used to help protect your accounts or Personal Information, it is your responsibility to keep your password confidential. Do not share this information with anyone. If you are on a public computer or sharing a computer with anyone you should always choose to log out before leaving a site.

WHAT ARE THE SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR TRUCLINIC VIDEO CONFERENCING?
TruClinic supports any computing device that has an internet connection and a webcam. We work on the following browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer and Opera. We run directly out of the browser on all mobile devices (smart phones & tablets) that have Android or Windows 8 as their operating system. Our iOS app is available on the Apple Store now.
Where/when is TruClinic available?
TruClinic is accessible to providers and patients no matter where they are, domestic or international. The platform enables access 24 hours a day, seven days a week 365 days a year, however individual providers are subject to their stated availability.
Can TruClinic be customized?
TruClinic is designed in a modular format, and can be customized to fit into any practice or system. The portal can also be white labeled or optimized with customized programming. TruClinic also has the capability to be translated into any language. For more information, please contact us.
How much does TruClinic cost?
Providers & Health systems: TruClinic only requires users to pay for time of usage. Time is priced on a scalable model, depending on the size of your organization.
Employers: TruClinic charges a monthly licensing fee. There may be an extra charge for interfaces to third-party programs, such as a practice management systems, ECG hardware, etc.
Is TruClinic interoperable with my EMR?
TruClinic does not replace EMR systems, but does give healthcare organizations a simple way to correlate patient data captured inside TruClinic with their existing EMR – patient data can easily be exported to your current EMR system.
TruClinic can also integrate with your EHR, call schedule, nurse-call system, and LDAP directory. Contact us for more information on how we can deliver a solution which integrates TruClinic into your existing infrastructure.
Does TruClinic replace 911 patient emergencies?
No. Patients should NOT use TruClinic when experiencing a medical emergency. If you are having a medical emergency, please contact 911.
How do I get Started?
Getting started with TruClinic is easy. All you need is a computing device with an Internet connection and a webcam. Fill out the Contact Us form and a TruClinic representative will contact shortly or call 1-877-340-0410 to speak to a representative.
Your TruClinic service is active on the day you make your first payment and pay your registration fee. You will need to activate your account and complete your profile before you can start seeing patients.
